Dr. Gretchen believes that everyone deserves to be heard and that understanding children's behaviors improves the overall health and well being of the whole family. Collaborative, patient centered care is the foundation of her practice.
Dr. Gretchen has provided primary care services to the community for 30 years. She opened the first NP owned and operated primary care clinic in the upper Midwest and continues to blaze trails today. Dr. Moen served as a past executive director and clinical director for Dakota Child and Family clinic until it closed in December 2024. Answering the call from her patients and the community, she is opening Collaborative Care Consultants where she will continue her work with neurodiverse children and their families; providing guidance with school, behavioral management, medications, and collaborating with other members of your child's care team.
Educating future health professionals about patient centered, collaborative care is near and dear to Dr. Gretchen's heart. As a past assistant professor at St Catherine University, she helped educate future pediatric nurse practitioners for over 15 years. She has served as a preceptor for all of her 30 years in practice and continues to be a guest lecturer at local colleges and universities.
